Key Information
Day 1
Arrival Day
Selamat pagi! Welcome to Indonesia!
Arrive before 5pm at Denpasar Airport (DPS) to be taken to your beautiful first hotel.Â
In the evening we will head out for a welcome dinner and some bintangs (the local beer) to start this incredible journey!
Day 2
Ubud Day Tour
It’s your first day so let’s start with a bang! Today, we’re going to explore some incredible hotspots.
You will visit the Git Git Waterfall and Beratan Lake as well as getting a taste of authentic local Balinese culture with an insightful tour of the local village.
In the evening the options are countless. Head to the best restaurant ‘Simply Social’ or a local Warung to try delicious cheap food.
Day 3 - 4
NGO Volunteering Project
It’s time to give back and get involved in the local community.
The next two days will be spent helping out at a local NGO that works with people with special needs. You’ll help out with teaching classes, craft activities, painting, gymnastics – and lots more. The local teachers will guide you, and this is a truly rewarding and beneficial experience.
Day 5
Rafting and Monkey Forest
Prepare for a fun-filled day as you board a boat for some white water rafting! Once the adrenaline has subsided, you’ll head to Tegalalang Rice Terrace ; one of the best rice terrace views in Bali.
Later, it’s time to make some new (pri)mates at the Sacred Monkey Forest of Padang Tegal. A natural forest sanctuary home to a horde of grey long-tailed macaques, it’s one of Ubud’s most popular attractions! Try to get that all important monkey selfie!
Day 6
Volunteering Continued
We have another day of making the difference helping at the local school. Teach English, different skills and also learning from them. You’ll leave knowing you’ve really made a difference to people’s lives.
In the evening lets head out for a few drinks, a delicious meal and some games with your new camp family.
Day 7
Ubud Free Day
After a super busy first week in Bali today is free for you to enjoy as you please.
If you are interesting in doing any extra activities please chat to your guide and they can organise this for you!Â
This can range from a sunrise hike to Mount Batur or a cooking class to make your very own delicious Balinese dishes.*
*Extra activities come at an additional cost
Day 8
Volunteering at an animal sanctuary
Today you will be volunteering at one of many animal shelters in Bali. You’ll work with a non-profit organisation whose mission is to provide a sanctuary for rescued animals. The centre organises a variety of programmes to improve animal welfare. From education programmes in schools, to street sterilisation, medical assistance, fostering and adoption. You will help them for cleaning, feeding, playing, afternoon walks, or simply give them warm cuddles.
Afterwards, you will visit Tanah Lot Temple. One of Bali’s most holy and naturally beautiful sites, this sea-side temple is perched precariously on an eroded rocky outcrop, connected to the shore only at low tide. Next stop, Seminyak!
Day 9
Surf Lesson
Let’s catch some waves! This morning we are heading for our very own surf lesson on Kuta Beach. Your certified instructor will teach you the basics of surfing and then before you know it, you’ll be riding the waves.Â
After the exciting morning you can spend the afternoon relaxing on the beach, catching a tan and watching a famous Bali sunset.
Day 10 & 11
Volunteering at Serangan Turtle Conservation
Over the next couple of days, you’ll be taking care of endangered Balinese turtles! Hunting, pollution of the ocean and destruction of breeding beaches has decreased the turtle population dramatically over the last few years. That’s why we’re here to help! You’ll spend your days helping to feed them, maintaining the sanctuary grounds, cleaning enclosures, supporting the environmental education programs and doing beach clean ups!
Options for the evenings in Seminyak are endless. ‘Shooters’ is our favourite venue for mini golf, darts and cocktails.
*Releasing baby turtles comes at an additional cost of 250k
Day 12
Seminyak Free Day
Today you can spend doing whatever you fancy. You can hit one of the many beaches in Seminyak or take part in any extra activities that interest you. Finns Beach Club is the best in the world so don’t miss it!*
*Extra Activities come at an additional cost
Day 13
Balangan Beach
Balangan Beach is a stunning stretch of golden sand and blue ocean, it is paradise. It’s the perfect spot for a day of relaxation and exploration.
Watch the sunset with your new mates, grab a cocktail and listen to some music to end a perfect day.
Day 14
Seminyak
If you’re looking for a fun and exciting way to spend your free day in Seminyak then you’re in luck, there’s so much to see and do!
There’s something for everyone in Seminyak, Thrill seekers can head out to the beach for water sports or if you’re feeling tired after two weeks of travelling, enjoy a traditional Balinese massage at a local spa (suggested activities are not included).
Day 15
Nusa Penida Bound
We are going to Nusa Penida! Head down to the port for the boat transfer to the beautiful island.
In the afternoon you will be able settle into your hotel, chill, sunbathe and enjoy your first evening as a group on this wonderful island.Â
Day 16
West Penida
Instagram iconic sights are upon us. Today, you’ll explore the western part of the island on an exciting full day adventure. Our first stop is Angel Billabong and Broken Beach, a stunning lagoon on the rocks with a breathtaking view, a great spot for taking pictures. Say goodbye to Nusa Penida and transfer back to Canggu.
Canggu is surrounded by terraced rice paddies and known for beaches, brunches and night life.
Enjoy some food with the group and then head out for a night out on the beach aka ‘Sand Bar.’Â

Starts
Bali Denpasar Airport (DPS)
We recommend arriving between 9am – 5pm on day 1 so you can meet your local guide in the arrivals hall.
They will be wearing Camp t-shirts and will be holding a sign (You can’t miss them!). If you can, we think
arriving earlier rather than later is better to allow for some down time at the hotel before the orientation and
evening activities.
If you do not arrive in the selected window, you will be responsible for making your own way to the
accommodation. Your local guide will be able to advise on this in the group chat. The evening orientation is
usually around 7/8pm so we recommend you don’t land too late. The journey from the airport can take a
while in Bali’s traffic! If you are planning to arrive a day earlier and want to stay near the airport in a hotel at
your own cost just let us know and you can come back to the airport for the pickup window or meet us at the
hotel.
Ends
Bali Denpasar Airport (DPS)
On the last day of Camp we recommend a flight after midday, we have a final night out in Bali on the last
day so give yourself time to recover and make sure you have time for any onward travel arrangements.
When confirming one of our tours, you will be responsible for booking your own flights. We do this to provide you with the most flexibility on where you fly from, and also so you can find the best price for your journey.
Whilst flights aren’t included in the base price, you can request a quote from our flights partner Skylink here.
If you need any more assistance, you can contact us:
Call Us: 0161 222 3780

Since each of our tours visits different places, the accommodation you will be staying in will vary.
The accommodation section above will cover more detail, but all the partners we use have been hand selected by our expert tour planners, using their extensive knowledge of the areas to ensure the quality of your stay will be fantastic.
Whether you’re a first time traveller or an experienced explorer looking for your next adventure, just as long as you’re 18 or over, you can join us on Camp.
The average age is 18-28 but we also welcome many travellers in their 30s. There is no maximum age limit, so if you’re still young at heart and up for an adventure like no other then join us.
Yes, Wi-Fi is available, whether it be in a communal area or in your room. However, we try our best to ensure that Wi-Fi is available in most areas of your accommodation. We now provide a free eSIM as part of your booking, so you’ll never have to worry about staying connected!
This varies depending on the programme. Check the schedule section above on this trip page to see which meals are included.
There is an abundance of inexpensive, fresh and delicious food from the many food stands and small family restaurants. On the days where a meal isn’t included, we recommend trying the local street food!
For about £2 per kilo, local laundry services will wash your clothes early morning and return them washed and neatly pressed the following afternoon.
Our programmes are fun-filled and action-packed but but don’t worry, you’ll still have some free time to relax or explore on your own. Your guides will be able to recommend some great activities and places to visit.
Certainly, with so many amazing places in both countries, we encourage this! Each member of our team is well-traveled and have visited the area many times, so we are always happy to give you travel advice. If you want to book onto another tour to continue your travels, just let us know and we’ll even offer you a discount!
This can really vary. Both countries are relatively cheap, and it depends how well you can, or need to budget. There are also opportunities to do additional activities which you may want to get involved in. For further advice contact our team and we can help you come up with an idea how much you will need to budget for.
Definitely! You will be making friends from the moment you land, friends you will keep for life after sharing such an amazing experience.
You will receive a packing list as part of the ‘Pre-Departure Pack’ which you will be sent after booking, but here’s just a few items we recommend taking;
The choice is yours, but a backpack is definitely more suitable for travelling around Vietnam & Cambodia. Plus, you don’t want to look like a starry-eyed first time traveller dragging around a heavy suitcase, looking like you just landed at a 5* resort in Europe!
Passport: A full passport valid for the duration of your stay is required. Please check that you still have at least 6 months left in your passport from the time you arrive in Vietnam.
Visa: Please make sure you read the latest travel advice before you go!
Personal Insurance, covering the time you will be away plus any activities that you will be undertaking, as well as any planned travel to other countries.
An Enhanced DBS Check. We’ve made this easy for you – you can book this with us once you have secured your place. If you are coming from another country you will need the equivalent local police check.
We embrace and celebrate diversity in all its forms. We are committed to creating an inclusive environment where individuals of every background, sexual orientation, race, ethnicity, religion, ability, and identity feel welcomed, respected, and valued. Through our programmes, policies, and values, we strive to foster empathy, understanding, and solidarity among our community members, ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to thrive and contribute their unique perspectives to our shared experience.
With our flexible booking policy we can move your trip date to another date within the same year, just make sure to let us know at least 2 months in advance! You can even change your Camp location if you fancy.
If you wish to cancel you can check out our T&Cs HERE!  You’ll need to let us know via email as soon as you can if you can no longer travel.
We advise getting travel insurance to cover any unexpected events resulting in you being unable to attend camp.
