Key Information

Day 1

Arrival and Welcome Dinner

Selamat Pagi! Welcome to Indonesia!

Arrive before 5pm for your airport pickup from Denpasar Airport (DPS). Transfer over to your accommodation in Seminyak – freshen up (or take a nap after a long flight!) before an induction session outlining the next AMAZING 12 days on Camp! This evening, head out for a welcome dinner to get to know your fellow Camp mates!

Day 2

Surf Lesson and Tanah Lot Temple!

Start your day with an authentic Indonesian Surf lesson! Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced surfer, you’ll be able to catch some waves and enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Indonesian coastline. After a morning of surfing, take a break and relax on the white sandy beaches and take a dip in the crystal clear waters of the sea. In the afternoon, take a trip to the iconic ‘Tanah Lot Temple’, otherwise known as the temple on water. Here you can watch the sun go down and take some amazing photos of the temple and the surrounding landscape.

Day 3

Volunteering at Serangan Turtle Conservation

Come join us in making a difference as we work together to save Balinese turtles! These precious creatures have become endangered due to human activity such as hunting, egg consumption and pollution of their habitats. Hence our mission to help keep these majestic animals safe by providing them with food and shelter while also educating others on how they can contribute too. You’ll get your hands dirty maintaining enclosures, supporting environmental education programs plus participating in beach clean-ups so you feel connected with Mother Nature first-hand.

*Releasing baby turtles comes at an additional cost of 250k

Day 4

Transfer to Gili Trawangan

Next stop, Gili T! Experience island life in this stunning turquoise paradise dotted with gorgeous hotspots just waiting to be discovered. The best way to see it all is by bike. Explore at a leisurely pace while you take in every moment of this breath-taking scenery around you.

Day 5

Gili T Free Day

Today is a fantastic experience to see as much of Gili T as possible! Be sure to ask your reps about the optional activities available to you on the island, we’d recommend scuba-diving (because you can never see too much of Gili’s marine life!); sea kayaking & paddleboarding; traditional Balinese yoga/meditation class.

Day 6

Island Hopping Tour

Are you ready for an unforgettable day of fun, swimming, snorkelling, turtles and some outstanding marine life? Prepare to set sail on an Island Hopping Tour and experience the stunning ocean views above and below the water!

Firstly, we’ll head to Gili Meno, to experience the clearest crystal blue waters. Snorkel from the boat at Bounty Reef Garden and witness its vibrant reef garden and pontoon wreck.

Next, visit Gili Air for lunch and relax on the beach. Keep an eye out for wild turtles as we visit a prime snorkelling spot! Go-Pros at the ready!

Day 7

Transfer to Ubud

Today is the day that your amazing island trip on the gorgeous Gili Trawangan must sadly come to an end. You will transfer back to Bali by fast boat, and arrive in Ubud in the afternoon. After the long journey, you will have the afternoon to rest and relax. You can take a leisurely stroll around the town, explore the local markets, and take in the sights and sounds of Ubud. You can also take a dip in the pool. There are plenty of restaurants and cafes to choose from, so you can enjoy a delicious meal and a refreshing drink.

Day 8

NGO Volunteering Project

After breakfast, it’s now time to make a positive impact! You will spend the day getting involved with a community service project at a local NGO which takes care of people with special needs! Get involved in their teaching classes, or help with craft activities, painting, gymnastics or whatever else is going on in their learning centre. The local teachers will guide you and this is a truly rewarding and beneficial experience to this NGO.

Day 9

Ubud Tour

Time to explore Ubud! Spend the day immersing yourself in true Indonesian culture. Today certainly isn’t the day to leave your camera behind! Time to make some new (pri)mates at the Sacred Monkey Forest of Padang Tegal. A natural forest sanctuary home to a horde of grey long-tailed macaques, it’s one of Ubud’s most popular attractions! Try to get that all important monkey selfie!

Continue your tour with a visit to Tegalalang Rice Terrace to marvel over the luscious green valley before our final stop, the Tegenungan Waterfall.

Day 10

Rafting and Transfer to Canggu

Prepare for a fun-filled day as you board a boat for some white water rafting with your camp friends! Today will be one to remember for sure. Once the adrenaline has subsided, prepare for a transfer to Canggu – a beautiful resort in Southern Bali!

Day 11

Yoga and Farewell Dinner

Today is your last full day at camp and we want you to make the most of it! We have kept this day free for you to do whatever you would like. Whether you want to explore the area or just relax and take in the scenery, the choice is yours. If you’re not out and about all day, we’ll have an optional afternoon yoga session for you to enjoy. This will be a great way to stretch out your muscles and relax before the evening pick up for the farewell dinner. After dinner, you’ll have the chance to say goodbye to your fellow campers and exchange contact details. We hope you’ve had a wonderful time at camp and that you’ll take away some great memories.

Day 12

Departure Day

It’s been an amazing trip and we hope you’ve enjoyed every moment. Unfortunately it’s reached the time when we need to part ways and head home. With so many other places to explore, where will you go next?!

Starts

Bali Denpasar Airport (DPS)

We recommend arriving between 9am – 5pm on day 1 so you can meet your local guide in the arrivals hall.
They will be wearing Camp Bali t-shirts and will be holding a sign (You can’t miss them!). If you can, we think arriving earlier rather than later is better to allow for some down time at the hotel before the orientation and evening activities.

If you do not arrive in the selected window, you will be responsible for making your own way to the accommodation. Your local guide will be able to advise on this in the group chat. The evening orientation is usually around 7/8pm so we recommend you don’t land too late. The journey from the airport can take a while in Bali’s traffic! If you are planning to arrive a day earlier and want to stay near the airport in a hotel at your own cost just let us know and you can come back to the airport for the pickup window or meet us at the hotel.

Ends

Bali Denpasar Airport (DPS)

On the last day of Camp we recommend a flight after midday, we have a final night out in Bali on the last
day so give yourself time to recover and make sure you have time for any onward travel arrangements.

When confirming one of our tours, you will be responsible for booking your own flights. We do this to provide you with the most flexibility on where you fly from, and also so you can find the best price for your journey.

Whilst flights aren’t included in the base price, you can request a quote from our flights partner Skylink here.

If you need any more assistance, you can contact us:

Call Us: 0161 222 3780
Email Us: [email protected]

Since each of our tours visits different places, the accommodation you will be staying in will vary.

The accommodation section above will cover more detail, but all the partners we use have been hand selected by our expert tour planners, using their extensive knowledge of the areas to ensure the quality of your stay will be fantastic.

Whether you’re a first time traveller or an experienced explorer looking for your next adventure, just as long as you’re 18 or over, you can join us on Camp.

The average age is 18-28 but we also welcome many travellers in their 30s. There is no maximum age limit, so if you’re still young at heart and up for an adventure like no other then join us.

Yes, Wi-Fi is available, whether it be in a communal area or in your room. However, we try our best to ensure that Wi-Fi is available in most areas of your accommodation. We now provide a free eSIM as part of your booking, so you’ll never have to worry about staying connected!

This varies depending on the programme. Check the schedule section above on this trip page to see which meals are included.

There is an abundance of inexpensive, fresh and delicious food from the many food stands and small family restaurants. On the days where a meal isn’t included, we recommend trying the local street food!

For about £2 per kilo, local laundry services will wash your clothes early morning and return them washed and neatly pressed the following afternoon.

Our programmes are fun-filled and action-packed but but don’t worry, you’ll still have some free time to relax or explore on your own. Your guides will be able to recommend some great activities and places to visit.

Certainly, with so many amazing places in both countries, we encourage this! Each member of our team is well-traveled and have visited the area many times, so we are always happy to give you travel advice. If you want to book onto another tour to continue your travels, just let us know and we’ll even offer you a discount!

This can really vary. Both countries are relatively cheap, and it depends how well you can, or need to budget. There are also opportunities to do additional activities which you may want to get involved in. For further advice contact our team and we can help you come up with an idea how much you will need to budget for.

Definitely! You will be making friends from the moment you land, friends you will keep for life after sharing such an amazing experience.

You will receive a packing list as part of the ‘Pre-Departure Pack’ which you will be sent after booking, but here’s just a few items we recommend taking;

  • Sun cream
  • Plug adapters
  • Power bank
  • Travel towel (perfect for the beach!)
  • A camera to capture all your amazing experiences

The choice is yours, but a backpack is definitely more suitable for travelling around Vietnam & Cambodia. Plus, you don’t want to look like a starry-eyed first time traveller dragging around a heavy suitcase, looking like you just landed at a 5* resort in Europe!

Passport: A full passport valid for the duration of your stay is required. Please check that you still have at least 6 months left in your passport from the time you arrive in Vietnam.

Visa: Please make sure you read the latest travel advice before you go!

Personal Insurance, covering the time you will be away plus any activities that you will be undertaking, as well as any planned travel to other countries.

An Enhanced DBS Check. We’ve made this easy for you – you can book this with us once you have secured your place. If you are coming from another country you will need the equivalent local police check.

We embrace and celebrate diversity in all its forms. We are committed to creating an inclusive environment where individuals of every background, sexual orientation, race, ethnicity, religion, ability, and identity feel welcomed, respected, and valued. Through our programmes, policies, and values, we strive to foster empathy, understanding, and solidarity among our community members, ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to thrive and contribute their unique perspectives to our shared experience.

With our flexible booking policy we can move your trip date to another date within the same year, just make sure to let us know at least 2 months in advance! You can even change your Camp location if you fancy.

If you wish to cancel you can check out our T&Cs HERE!  You’ll need to let us know via email as soon as you can if you can no longer travel.

We advise getting travel insurance to cover any unexpected events resulting in you being unable to attend camp.
