What to Expect
This incredible placement programme is made up of a 1 Week Orientation, followed by at least 2 months of teaching in your placement school (if you want to commit to longer, even better! We can place you for up to 12 months!) You’ll have your evenings and weekends (and public holidays) free to explore the delights of Thailand! Typically, teachers will stay in Thailand after their placement has finished to travel the rest of this amazing country!
Arrive on day 1 before 2pm and we'll meet you at Bangkok Airport (BKK). You'll be transferred to your accommodation where you can relax before the orientation week.
As well as training, this week also involves a unique, in-country cultural immersion experience. Here’s what you can expect:
The 120-hour TEFL course provides significant instruction on the theories, strategies and techniques of teaching English as a second/foreign language. The course also includes a strong cultural and linguistic foundation to prepare participants to teach and live in Thailand.

We work closely with our in country partner to find you the best overseas teaching placement and prepare you for your unique teaching experience. We’ll support you every step of the way, from the moment you commit right through to when you finish your placement and any questions/concerns you have along the way. This is what the full process can look like:
Typically teaching days range from 8:30am – 4pm and then your afternoon is yours to do exactly as you please! The best bit? Degree holders can expect to earn between 30,000 to 40,000 Thai Baht throughout their placement, which is super competitive pay!
Teachers will also get all public holidays off as standard!
Where will I be placed?
Where you’ll be placed on your teaching placement is all dependent on which of our partner schools require teachers. This can also be dependent on your experience and the age/level of teaching required by the particular school. Nevertheless, we have a 100% placement success rate, so as long as you’re open and flexible, we’re sure you’ll get snapped up!
Some of our most popular placement areas include Bangkok (the countries buzzing capital!), Sukothai, Trang, Ubon Ratchathanii & Chonburi! All of these locations are within walking distance from local shops, temples, markets and some of the most amazing tourist hotspots! Please note, we can take into account your preference on placement location, but we cannot guarantee it.

Many of the issues and challenges that one faces when teaching in a foreign country are rooted in cultural differences and language barriers. Gaining a thorough understanding of language, history and culture is imperative to making a success of teaching in Thailand.
Preparing to teach abroad with this mindset results in a smoother cultural integration, making the experience more enjoyable and enlightening.
Our cultural immersion course delves into the heart of Thai culture and values through in-class instruction/lectures, and active-learning cultural excursions to various sites of cultural and historical significance. The in-country orientation is punctuated by in-class language lessons to build a strong foundation in Thai language.
