Key Information

Day 1

Arrival – Welcome to Bali!

Arrive into Denpasar Airport (DPS) and your guide will be waitting to meet you before arranging your transfer over to our first accommodation. Freshen up (or take a nap after a long flight) before an induction session outlining the next AMAZING 20 days on Camp!

This evening, we’ll head out for a welcome dinner buffet on us and you can get to get to know your fellow Camp mates!

Day 2

Beach Day & Surf Lesson

To kick off the day with a splash, grab your board and hit the waves for an epic surf lesson on one of Bali’s stunning palm-fringed beaches! With a certified instructor by your side, you’ll learn the ins and outs of surfing, from mastering your stance on the beach to riding those waves like a pro. In no time you’ll be gliding gracefully across the water.

After the surf session, you’ll have some free time to soak up the sun, chill out, and maybe even catch a beachside nap. It’s all about balance, right?

Day 3

Taman Ayun, Tanah Lot & Sunset Yoga

Today you will be heading out to Taman Ayun, a major temple in the village of Mengwi. This temple is surrounded by a wide moat and is a beautiful example of Balinese architecture. Next, you’ll head to Tanah Lot, one of Bali’s most holy and naturally beautiful sites. This sea-side temple is perched precariously on an eroded rocky outcrop, connected to the shore only at low tide. It is a great spot to take some amazing photos!

Later, as the sun goes down, enjoy a sunset yoga class on the beach with a professional instructor. This is a great way to relax and rejuvenate after a long day of sightseeing.

Day 4

Volunteering at Serangan Turtle Conservation

Come join us in making a difference as we work together to save Balinese turtles! These precious creatures have become endangered due to human activity such as hunting, egg consumption and pollution of their habitats. Hence our mission to help keep these majestic animals safe by providing them with food and shelter while also educating others on how they can contribute too. You’ll get your hands dirty maintaining enclosures, preparing fish and feeding turtles, learning all about and participating in beach clean-ups so you feel connected with Mother Nature first-hand.

*Releasing baby turtles comes at an additional cost of approximately £16 and depends on the season.

Day 5

Seminyak Free Day

It’s your free day to explore Seminyak on your own. The white sandy beaches of Kuta stretch in both directions as far as the eye can see. We recommend Seminyak Beach and Petitenget Beach which offer fantastic views of the Balinese sunset. Seminyak Beach is favoured because of the great waves that are most ideal for surfers.

Wander the streets of Seminyak; browsing local boutiques and attractive galleries. Eat your way through the cafes, restaurants and warungs. Later, experience the vibrant nightlife and enjoy a cocktail or two as the sun goes down.

Day 6

Ubud - Volunteering & Monkey Forest

After breakfast, it’s time to move on to the cultural hotbed of Ubud! This awesome location features luscious rice fields, quirky markets and an abundance of Balinese and Western restaurants and cafes.

This morning we will be getting involved with a community service project at a local NGO which takes care of young people with special needs. This is an awesome and rewarding experience you won’t forget. You’ll get involved in their teaching classes, or help with craft activities, painting, gymnastics or whatever else is going on in their learning centre. The local teachers & our guides will help you and this is a truly beneficial experience to this NGO. You’ll spend the morning here with a delicious lunch cooked by the children included.

In the afternoon you will get to visit the famous Monkey Forest, it’s one of Ubud’s most popular spots!

Day 7

Volunteering at a NGO Local School

This morning we will be heading back to the NGO school to make more memories with the children.

You will mixed between helping with different activities. Some may be teaching English, some may help with gardening and cooking.

It is a truly life changing experience that will stay with you forever.

In the evening you will have a free night to go and have a delicious dinner at one of the many spots in Ubud.

Day 8

Ubud Day Tour

Today we’re going to get out and explore Ubud! This is a jam packed day where you’ll spend the day immersing yourself in true Indonesian culture so don’t leave your camera behind.

Start your tour with a visit to the water temple Tirta Empul, followed by the stunning Tegalalang Rice Terrace to marvel over the luscious green valley before our final stop, the Tegenungan Waterfall.

Day 9

Ubud Free Day

After a busy week, today is a free day for you to enjoy at your own pace. Your local guide will be on hand to help arrange some extra activities for you to get involved with.

Need some ideas? You could check out a local warung to try some Nasi Goreng for lunch. Later on why not head to the most Instagrammable spot in Ubud, Cretya Day Club?

Day 10

Ubud Free Day

There is so much to get up to in Ubud that we love to give you guys flexibility to book any extra activities. From hiking up the famous Mount Batur to watch the sunrise, to making your very own jewellery. All these activities are super affordable so chat with your guide to get booking!

Day 11

Transfer to Kuta Mandalika

Rise and shine! Today we transfer to Lombok; a beautiful island just east of Bali. While every year millions of tourists are attracted to Bali, many places on Lombok are still untouched and mass tourism is still unknown there! Lombok offers many empty and often isolated palm fringed white sandy beaches, friendly locals, tasty food and fantastic culture! We’ll catch a fast boat over to the island, taking in the stunning views from afar! Once you arrive you will transfer by minivan to your accommodation for check in.

Day 12

Selong Belanak Beach

Home to white sand and turquoise water, Selong Belanak Beach is shaped like a crescent surrounded by hills. Catch some rays, stroll along the beach, or take a dip! If you’re feeling adventurous, you can rent a surfboard or paddleboard to ride the waves. You’ll find a few local restaurants offering traditional Indonesian dishes, as well as refreshing coconuts to try. Selong Belanak Beach has something for everyone to enjoy!

*Surfboard and paddle board hire comes at an additional cost

Day 13

Kuta Free Day

Today is yours to explore and unwind in the vibrant surroundings of Kuta Mandalika. Whether you’re seeking adventure or relaxation, this coastal town has something for everyone.

Day 14

Gili Trawangan Transfer & Island Bike Ride

Welcome to Gili Trawangan! Dive into island life surrounded by stunning turquoise waters and beautiful views all the way around the island. We’ll transfer by boat from Lombok and pick up bikes at the harbour. Discover the best of this breathtaking paradise on two wheels, leisurely pedaling through the picturesque landscapes. Get ready to experience the magic of Gili T!

Day 15

Horse Stable Visit

This morning’s itinerary brings us to ‘Horses of Gili,’ an NGO that brings an insightful experience delving into the care and significance of these majestic animals on the island. Gain a deeper understanding of the essential role horses play in island life and learn firsthand about their wellbeing and upkeep. Engage in educational discussions on why horses are integral to the Gili Islands while seizing the unique opportunity to brush, walk and bathe them in the crystal-clear waters around the Island.

Day 16

Gili T Free Day

Today is a fantastic experience to see as much of Gili T as possible! Be sure to ask your guide about the optional activities available to you on the island, we’d recommend scuba-diving (because you can never see too much of Gili’s marine life!), kayaking & paddleboarding or traditional Balinese yoga/meditation class.

Day 17

Gili Trawangan Island Hopping Tour

Get set for an exhilarating boat tour where you’ll get chance to swim and see the underwater sights around the Gili Islands. We’ll kick off at the stunning Gili Meno, where the crystal-clear waters beg you to dive in. Explore the vibrant marine life at Bounty Reef Garden and discover the secrets of a sunken pontoon wreck. Then, it’s off to Gili Air for a break on land and some time to grab lunch if you’re hungry. Keep your eyes peeled for wild turtles as we snorkel in the pristine waters. Don’t miss capturing the magic with a waterproof phone case or a Go-Pro!

Day 18

Gili T Free Day

Today, relax by the pool or explore the island for our last full day on the Island. For the best sunset, stick to the west side of the Island!

Day 19

Transfer to Seminyak

Your island trip on the gorgeous Gili T must sadly come to an end, today we will transfer back to Bali by fast boat. Arrive in Seminyak and relax after the journey. This evening we’ll all head out for a farewell meal on us & one last fun night out on the strip with your fellow campers.

Starts

Bali Denpasar Airport (DPS)

We recommend arriving between 9am – 5pm on day 1 so you can meet your local guide in the arrivals hall.
They will be wearing Camp Bali t-shirts and will be holding a sign (You can’t miss them!). If you can, we think arriving earlier rather than later is better to allow for some down time at the hotel before the orientation and evening activities.

If you do not arrive in the selected window, you will be responsible for making your own way to the accommodation. Your local guide will be able to advise on this in the group chat. The evening orientation is usually around 7/8pm so we recommend you don’t land too late. The journey from the airport can take a while in Bali’s traffic! If you are planning to arrive a day earlier and want to stay near the airport in a hotel at your own cost just let us know and you can come back to the airport for the pickup window or meet us at the hotel.

Ends

Bali Denpasar Airport (DPS)

On the last day of Camp we recommend a flight after midday, we have a final night out in Bali on the last
day so give yourself time to recover and make sure you have time for any onward travel arrangements.

When confirming one of our tours, you will be responsible for booking your own flights. We do this to provide you with the most flexibility on where you fly from, and also so you can find the best price for your journey.

Whilst flights aren’t included in the base price, you can request a quote from our flights partner Skylink here.

If you need any more assistance, you can contact us:

Call Us: 0161 222 3780
Email Us: [email protected]

Since each of our tours visits different places, the accommodation you will be staying in will vary.

The accommodation section above will cover more detail, but all the partners we use have been hand selected by our expert tour planners, using their extensive knowledge of the areas to ensure the quality of your stay will be fantastic.

Whether you’re a first time traveller or an experienced explorer looking for your next adventure, just as long as you’re 18 or over, you can join us on Camp.

The average age is 18-28 but we also welcome many travellers in their 30s. There is no maximum age limit, so if you’re still young at heart and up for an adventure like no other then join us.

Yes, Wi-Fi is available, whether it be in a communal area or in your room. However, we try our best to ensure that Wi-Fi is available in most areas of your accommodation. We now provide a free eSIM as part of your booking, so you’ll never have to worry about staying connected!

This varies depending on the programme. Check the schedule section above on this trip page to see which meals are included.

There is an abundance of inexpensive, fresh and delicious food from the many food stands and small family restaurants. On the days where a meal isn’t included, we recommend trying the local street food!

For about £2 per kilo, local laundry services will wash your clothes early morning and return them washed and neatly pressed the following afternoon.

Our programmes are fun-filled and action-packed but but don’t worry, you’ll still have some free time to relax or explore on your own. Your guides will be able to recommend some great activities and places to visit.

Certainly, with so many amazing places in both countries, we encourage this! Each member of our team is well-traveled and have visited the area many times, so we are always happy to give you travel advice. If you want to book onto another tour to continue your travels, just let us know and we’ll even offer you a discount!

This can really vary. Both countries are relatively cheap, and it depends how well you can, or need to budget. There are also opportunities to do additional activities which you may want to get involved in. For further advice contact our team and we can help you come up with an idea how much you will need to budget for.

Definitely! You will be making friends from the moment you land, friends you will keep for life after sharing such an amazing experience.

You will receive a packing list as part of the ‘Pre-Departure Pack’ which you will be sent after booking, but here’s just a few items we recommend taking;

  • Sun cream
  • Plug adapters
  • Power bank
  • Travel towel (perfect for the beach!)
  • A camera to capture all your amazing experiences

The choice is yours, but a backpack is definitely more suitable for travelling around Vietnam & Cambodia. Plus, you don’t want to look like a starry-eyed first time traveller dragging around a heavy suitcase, looking like you just landed at a 5* resort in Europe!

Passport: A full passport valid for the duration of your stay is required. Please check that you still have at least 6 months left in your passport from the time you arrive in Vietnam.

Visa: Please make sure you read the latest travel advice before you go!

Personal Insurance, covering the time you will be away plus any activities that you will be undertaking, as well as any planned travel to other countries.

An Enhanced DBS Check. We’ve made this easy for you – you can book this with us once you have secured your place. If you are coming from another country you will need the equivalent local police check.

We embrace and celebrate diversity in all its forms. We are committed to creating an inclusive environment where individuals of every background, sexual orientation, race, ethnicity, religion, ability, and identity feel welcomed, respected, and valued. Through our programmes, policies, and values, we strive to foster empathy, understanding, and solidarity among our community members, ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to thrive and contribute their unique perspectives to our shared experience.

With our flexible booking policy we can move your trip date to another date within the same year, just make sure to let us know at least 2 months in advance! You can even change your Camp location if you fancy.

If you wish to cancel you can check out our T&Cs HERE!  You’ll need to let us know via email as soon as you can if you can no longer travel.

We advise getting travel insurance to cover any unexpected events resulting in you being unable to attend camp.
