Summer Camp In America Reviews

This year, I signed up for AmeriCamp and headed to Maine in search of my very own American Dream; the trip surpassed my lofty expectations! Maine is located on the east coast of America and is so beautiful – the landscape is truly a sight to behold. I had a blast spending the summer at camp – it was the perfect escape and was such an enjoyable experience, so much so, that I’ve booked onto AmeriCamp Canada to hang out with America’s wonderful neighbour in 2019!

I decided to write a contribution for the summer camp in America reviews section to convince others to follow my lead and fly to camp for a life-changing experience.

Before I went to AmeriCamp, I had been to America with my family. However, I wanted to uncover my own sense of discovery and travel independently now that I’m getting older! I don’t regret deciding to choose AmeriCamp as my travel provider – throughout the application process the team were so helpful and answered any questions that I asked them and they put my mind completely at ease whilst planning my trip. I’ve left with a range of new skills, incredible new friends and a newfound confidence that has led me to look at more travel options.

Food, accommodation and insurance are all included in your program fees during your time at camp which eased a huge burden when I was in America! Consequently, I didn’t have to break into my wage when I was finished which was great as I went travelling with a few friends.

Speaking of post-camp travel, The New York After Party is hosted by AmeriCamp and is an absolute must! It was incredible heading to such an iconic city and seeing famous landmarks – I was completely starstruck!
